marc trudel bio

Marc Trudel is the keeper of secrets! That’s the title of the head of the library at La mystérieuse école, the school for magicians where anything is possible. An avid artifact collector and professional trickster, Marc loves to share his love of magic and reading. He always has a deck of cards in hand, can talk about reading for hours and… loves to make bananas appear!

In addition to his role in La mystérieuse école, Marc Trudel is a two-time Canadian Magic Champion and the first recipient of the Grand Prix Michel Cailloux. He is established not only as an experienced professional magician, but also as an artist, creator, consultant and teacher respected by his peers. He has been presenting magic shows for nearly 20 years for clients and major productions such as Cirque du Soleil’s Joyà and the Just for Laughs Museum, where he was magician-in-residence. He is also co-author of the Albert Le Curieux series, whose tome on science won the Hackmatack literary prize. On the web, his educational series Les coulisses de la magie, produced by Radio-Canada, received over 8 million views.

Marc is an outstanding popularizer and loves to share his passion with his audience, as well as with the magic community. He has been honored by the Canadian Association of Magicians for his contribution to the advancement of the art of magic in Canada.
